The KeyState Companies is pleased to announce that the New York Department of Financial Services has granted KeyState Captive Management approval to manage New York State domiciled captive insurance companies.

“In the past two decades, over 40 New York-based companies have established and currently utilize New York captive insurance companies,” states David Guerino, SVP and Managing Director of Captive Insurance. “KeyState is excited to be expanding its captive management services from Nevada and Delaware into the great state of New York.”

KeyState has invested and grown its captive management team significantly over the past three years, hiring a team of seasoned professionals with over 100 years of cumulative insurance and captive experience. The result has been a steady trend of large U.S. captive owners transitioning their captive management to KeyState as large broker-owned captive managers have struggled to retain talent. With this recent approval, New York domiciled captives can now consider making the transition to KeyState, an independent and innovative captive manager.
