The mission of the Public Education Foundation is to mobilize community and global resources to support and impact public education through initiatives, programs, and promising practices designed to improve student performance and advance quality educational opportunities for all children. Our CEO, Josh Miller, serves on the Board of Directors as the Foundation’s Vice Chair of Finance.
Kids Cafe® is a program of Feeding America, designed to ensure that children without access to regular nutrition receive a nutritional light meal after school and currently provides more than 30,000 meals per week in Southern Nevada. One Friday per month, KeyState team members volunteer in the kitchen at Kids Cafe ® preparing the meals that are distributed to more than 100 after school programs in our community.
The Salvation Army operates 16 facilities and over 20 programs and services throughout Southern Nevada. The KeyState Companies support families in need by organizing canned food drives for the local food pantry as well as participating in Coats for Kids Foundation drive which provides warm clothing for children in need during the winter months.
Toys for Tots distributes Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community during the holiday months each year. The KeyState Companies spreads this message of hope by serving as an annual toy drop-off location and hosting a toy drive with the neighboring businesses of our headquarters for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program in Southern Nevada.
Nevada Succeeds’ goal is to ensure that every student in Nevada has access to a high performing school and graduates with the knowledge, skills and behaviors necessary to succeed in a competitive global economy. Our Executive Chairman, Monte Miller, serves on the Board of Directors.
Kids to Kids is the flagship program of Spread the Word Nevada, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing early childhood illiteracy. The KeyState Companies help to put books in the hands of at-risk children by organizing book drives with the donations used towards building home libraries for Nevada’s youth.
Keystone Corporation’s mission is to promote more responsible government and a business-friendly environment in the State of Nevada by helping to elect legislators and officials who share those same values. Monte Miller serves as the Treasurer and on the Board of Directors of Keystone Corporation.
Nevada Taxpayers Association’s mission is to promote the cause of the taxpayer for responsible government at a reasonable price through research, dissemination of information and data to policy makers, taxpayers and others to influence responsible action. Monte Miller serves on the Board of Directors of the NTA.
