David Guerino

David Guerino joined KeyState in 2019 with over 20 years of captive management experience. Prior to this, David was a Managing Director and Senior Account Executive at Willis Towers Watson, where he led the firm’s captive insurance program, overseeing 140 captive insurance entities. In this role, he managed various phases of development, including feasibility, implementation, and ongoing management. Over the course of his career, David has managed pure captives, protected cell companies, risk retention groups, association captives, industrial insureds, rent-a-captives, and public entity pools. His industry experience includes real estate, REITS, construction, healthcare, financial institutions, insurance companies, retail, manufacturing, energy, and public utilities. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Champlain College. He has also served on the Vermont Captive Insurance Association conference committee and participated in several conference panels.
